Masterwork Visalia Concrete and Masonry, visaliaconcreteandmasonry.com, contact@visaliaconcreteandmasonry.com

Agreeing to these terms

These terms cover your use of the Masterwork Visalia Concrete and Masonry website, starting at our home page, and any estimate or work you ask us for through it. By using the site, calling us or sending the contact form, you agree to these terms.

If you don't agree, please don't use the site. A signed contract for a specific job wins over these terms wherever the two differ.

Who we are and what we do

Masterwork Visalia Concrete and Masonry is a masonry contractor in Visalia, CA, doing concrete, brick, block and stone work for homes in Visalia and the cities around it. You can read more about us on our About page.

What you read on this site is general information about the trade and our services. It isn't advice for your particular house, because we can't tell what your job needs until we've seen it in person.

Estimates and pricing

Estimates are free and done on site, and you're under no pressure to book. An estimate is based on what we can see and measure that day, so it covers the work described on it and nothing more.

Masonry and concrete work sometimes turns up things nobody could see beforehand, like a weak base, hidden damage or old repairs behind the surface. If that changes the work or the price, we'll explain it and get your approval before we do the extra work.

An estimate is good for the period written on it. After that, material costs may have changed, so we may need to update the price.

Scheduling and cancellation

We'll give you a start date when you book. Weather, material deliveries, permit approvals and conditions on site can move that date, and if they do, we'll tell you as soon as we know and set a new one with you.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, let us know as early as you can. If we've already ordered special materials or started the work by then, you may owe for those costs as your contract states. Any cancellation rights you have under California law still apply.

Payment

The amount, any deposit and when each payment is due are set out in your written contract. We don't start work until we've both agreed to those terms.

Final payment is due when the work in the contract is done, unless your contract says otherwise. If a payment is late, we may pause further work until it's settled.

Our guarantee and what isn't covered

Our work is backed by our satisfaction guarantee. If something isn't right with work we did, call us and we'll come back and look at it. Any written warranty for your job is the one in your contract.

Bricks, block, pavers, stone and other materials carry their makers' warranties, and those are the makers' to honor. We'll pass along any paperwork you need to use them.

Our guarantee doesn't cover damage from misuse, accidents, weather events, tree roots, ground movement after the job, or changes made by someone else. Hairline cracks in concrete and mortar are normal as they cure and settle, and they usually aren't a sign of a failed job.

The website itself is provided as is. We try to keep it accurate, but we don't promise that every page is complete, current or free of errors.

Limits on our liability

Masterwork Visalia Concrete and Masonry is licensed and insured. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or follow-on losses, such as lost use of your property or lost income, from your use of this site or our work.

For any claim about a job, our liability is limited to what you paid us for that job, unless the law says otherwise. Nothing here limits any responsibility that California law doesn't allow us to limit.

Settling a disagreement

If you have a problem with our work or a bill, call us first at (559) 409-1176. Most problems get sorted out quickly once we talk, and we'll work with you in good faith to fix it.

If we can't settle it between us, either of us may take it to the courts in Tulare County, California, unless your contract names another way to resolve it.

Which state's law applies

These terms and any work we do are governed by the laws of the State of California.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the version on this page is the current one. A change won't alter a contract you've already signed with us.

Questions about these terms

If anything here is unclear, call us at (559) 409-1176 or reach us through our Contact page. We reply within 1 business day.
